The steps
-
1
Settings Security and Login
Turn on Developer mode.
-
2
Add a new connector and paste in this address. When ChatGPT asks how to sign in, choose OAuth.
What happens next
A Croft page opens and asks you to let ChatGPT in. Approve it, and you're connected.
Check it worked
ChatGPT lists your Croft workspaces by name. If it says it can't see them, reply "Use Croft to look them up." Once the list comes back, you're set up.
It only looks things up in Croft when you ask it to.
It can't stop partway through to ask you a question. If a workflow needs a setting you haven't given, Croft adds it paused and lists what's missing.
If it didn't
There's no Developer mode switch under Settings → Security and Login.
Your ChatGPT plan doesn't include Developer mode.
Upgrade to a plan that includes it, or use Claude instead. Claude Code works on any plan.
ChatGPT doesn't look anything up in Croft unless you ask, like what a run did.
That's how ChatGPT works with Croft. Nothing is set up wrong.
Ask it directly, naming Croft: "Use Croft to show me what my last run did."
You added a blueprint, but the workflow is paused and some settings are blank.
ChatGPT can't stop partway through to ask you for them, so Croft adds the workflow paused and lists what's missing.
Tell ChatGPT the missing values and ask it to fill them in, then ask it to start the run again.
ChatGPT says a workspace you know exists was not found.
When you approved ChatGPT, you were signed in to a Croft account that isn't in that workspace, or you've since been removed from it.
Remove the Croft connector in ChatGPT, add it again, and approve it while signed in to the right Croft account.
