Claude

Claude app (web, desktop, mobile)

For Claude on the web, desktop, or mobile — requires a Claude plan that includes custom connectors.

Back

Needs A Claude plan that includes custom connectors.

The steps

  1. 1
    Settings Connectors Add custom connector

    Add a custom connector.

  2. 2

Paste the server URL and save.

What happens next

Saving opens Croft's consent screen in a browser. Approve it and the connector is live — there is nothing else to fill in, because Claude registers itself.

It is attached to your Claude account, not to this device, so it appears on desktop and mobile on its own. There is nothing to add on your phone, only to find it already there.

Check it worked

One row per workspace you can open. Getting this back proves discovery, registration, the OAuth round trip and the token all worked in one move.

If it didn't

There's no "Add custom connector" option under Settings → Connectors.

Your Claude plan doesn't include custom connectors.

Upgrade to a plan that includes custom connectors, or use Claude Code instead — it has no plan requirement.

The connector saves, but no Croft tools show up in a chat.

The consent screen was closed or denied before authorization finished, so the connector was created without a token.

Remove the connector and add it again, approving the consent screen fully.

A tool call returns "not found" for a workspace you know exists.

Croft is looking at a workspace this connector can't reach — it was authorized under a different Claude account than the one that workspace belongs to, or you've been removed from it since.

Check which account the connector was authorized with.
